Eligibility and Admission Norms

A candidate, who has passed the Two Year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Board of Pre-University Education in Karnataka or any other course considered as equivalent there to by the Karnataka University is eligible for admission to the I year B.A / B.Com / B.Sc. Degree Courses.

1) All candidates should bring with them the following records when they present themselves for admission.

a) Statement of Marks in original and three Xerox copies.

b) Transfer certificate in the prescribed form of the institution which they last attended and the Postal Order of Rs.25 to be paid towards T.C.

c) Conduct Certificate from the head of the institution where they studied.

d) Three Passport size photos of the candidate.

e) If the parental income is below Rs. 11000/- p.a., the candidate should produce declaration in form no II and III duly signed by the competent authority in original and 2 Xerox copies.

f) The candidate coming from any other University, will have to bring Eligibility Certificate from Karnataka University for seeking admission to Degree Classes.

2) A declaration will have to be signed by the parent / guardian at the time of admission in the presence of the Principal / Admission Committee. Interview of candidate is compulsory. After the interview, if the candidate is selected for admission he/she should pay immediately the term fees, failing which the selection will be cancelled.

3) Admission to any course is made for one academic year only. Student will be admitted to the next higher class on the basis of fresh aplication to that class taking into account the progress, conduct and behaviour of each student during the preceding year in the college
